Now solidly established with the media, its enhanced visibility provides continued support for the company's growth. Among our many achievements are front-page placements in The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times and a wide range of high-profile publicity in other leading print and broadcast outlets. In addition, placements in national and local business media have resulted in significant new business, requests for proposals and speaking engagements for this client.

For a finance, accounting and tax outsourcing firm and its wealth management subsidiary, we increased its perceived presence in the marketplace through a coordinated campaign using hard news announcements, feature story pitches, a white paper on world-class procurement, and an international survey of financial reporting. Among the results were placements in The Wall Street Journal, Dow Jones Newswires, Forbes.com, Associated Press, MarketWatch.com, CFO Magazine, Business Finance, Worth Magazine, Structured Products and local business media in areas where the firm has offices.

Since Spring 2000, we have been working with our European partner, Thierry d'Hauthuille, to produce successful investor conferences and one-on-one meetings in the United States for public companies from Germany, France, Italy, Austria and the Netherlands. Strauss Global's multilingual staff has organized and attended 90 private meetings with leading equity analysts and portfolio managers in New York, Boston and Toronto for 33 Euroland companies. The firms represent a variety of sectors, including biotechnology, high tech, real estate, financial services and luxury goods.

The integrated marketing campaign we created for National Coupon Month featured an innovative website, national and local publicity in both print and broadcast media. The website registered almost 100,000 visitors between July and October and was a major factor in generating 51,000 entries in the National Coupon Month Sweepstakes. Our media relations campaign about the benefits of coupons and National Coupon Month reached a print audience of 19 million readers and a broadcast audience of 6 million listeners and viewers, contributing to increased use of coupons during 19981999. |

A NASDAQ company in the oilfield services sector that we represented to the investor community for two years was sold to a global energy company at an equity premium of 25 percent above its IPO price. Five Canadian biotechnology and information technology companies presented at a well-attended investor conference in New York organized by Strauss Global Public Relations and hosted by the New York Society of Security Analysts. The audience included equity analysts, money managers, financial advisors and investment bankers. Strauss Global also arranged one-on-one investor meetings, where the CEOs met top analysts, portfolio managers and investment bankers from nine Wall Street firms including J.P. Morgan Chase, Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown, Needham & Co. and Robotti & Co. A private meeting was held for one of the CEOs with an international consulting firm that works with many Fortune 500 companies. In addition to very positive feedback from the audience and the presenters, an investment firm attending the conference purchased 500,000 shares of one of the companies soon after the event.
